Chevy is the way to go right now for the drive train. 06 is what I'm buying at the end of this plow season.

Cummins...there is only one. All the trucks should get about the same MPG with the DPF going in and out of regen. Its kinda hard to get past that. Cant wait for the foolers to come out so we can straight pipe'em.

Cummins 6.7 I heard had a whole lot of issues.

Its still too bad they are in a dodge.

i was going to buy a new truck, but this look like a good buy, is it gas or diesel ?

This is my third 4X4 Quigley, but my first Diesel. Since they don't put the 8.1 liter in the vans anymore. Gets about 13-14 mpg around town and 15-16 on the road. The motor is quite and really good, but if I had to do it again. The price difference for the Duramax and the cost of fuel...I don't see a savings on either end.

my 06 gmc duramax crew cab dually would get 22mpg @ 65 cruise this was after a edge w/ attitude controller and an are fiberglass lid.... great truck my 4th duramax..... and i just bought #5

All the new diesels took a big hit on fuel economy due to the new emissions regulations. they basically dump raw fuel into the exhaust to burn off particulates. Had to trade a lot of gas mileage off for efficiency. Better off getting a used one.

it is diesel..6.0 litre. 28,680 miles.
