Did you pull the Apache yet?

Not with the 450. The trailer is too close to the bed sides.

Your pic makes the chrome up on the hood look like it is missing. Is it covered up? That and the totempole headlights are my issues.

I know it is the best truck out there, no argument there.

I deal with a contractor who bought one in October and he LOVES it (except the mileage part .... he is getting 9-10mpg)

No, I am just going to keep the Peterbilt as long as the Apache is around. I bought the 450 as a daily driver and was hoping it would take care of the Apache so I could sell the Pete. It will still handle the flat bed trailer, the car trailer and the other boats, so it's staying.

I just got my 450 I had a 350 last year & the 450 is a little better. I really like the tighter turning. I also have 4.88 rears but I have a 22.5 wheel & tire kit coming & I may try a Superchip just for fun. Great truck & gets as good or a little better fuel mileage than my H-2 does & won't come close to the towing or hauling capicity. I'd say all in all a very good truck.

I'm considering the 22.5's on my 2008 F450. I'd love to hear how yours works out. Are you adding any lift? Can you post som after pictures?

Thanks,
Jeff

I was told with the 255/70's I won't need a lift. We will see.

That's what I was told as well. Be sure to let me know... Please! Where did you get them from?

I have 2 brothers that own tire stores in Detriot so wheels & tires are not a problem. The hub adaptors I bought from a place in the northeast the website is chromewheels.com. I also found another place called american force wheels. They have a website also. It may take a couple weeks I'm traveling alot in the next 2 months & I get put to the bottom of the list with my brothers (maybe I should try paying them for all the wheels & tires they have sent me?). BTW call Tim Leslie Tire 586-463-4550 & talk to Tim he is a dealer now for hub adaptors.
