do you know how much this truck can tow, officially, on paper?

Officially it is 16500 GVW. My brother pulls a 4 car hauler with his, I use mine to pull my 40, pulls great! We also, have used it to pull a large camper/car trailer, 52' goose, also no problems!

what was the formula again to calculate the towing capacity? gvw - weight of truck? wich is what...

truck weighs around 10k

my 4500 has a gcvw of 27,500#. that total truck trailer and load . i don't understand how some of hotshots haul huge loads

All I know is that it pulls everything and still drives like a truck. I will miss it!
