06 and early 07, towing mirrors are slightly angled up from the body(old style), some don't care for the look so there is a mod that will make them parallel to the ground

[QUOTE=Wobble;2545600]I was thinking it was odd that you had not done that. [/QUOTE
I have bins 6' tall in the shop of grade 8, stainless, and metric 10.9 hardware. I actually made "Kits"in sandwich baggies for my buddies with all the necessary hardware in grade 10.9 and cut rubber spacers to shim and preload the mirror so that it does not vibrate or rock back and functions exactly like stock. I shimmed the back of the pivot with a thick rubber shim that pre loads it since I extend mine quite a bit for towing. I got the idea from dieselplace.....but nobody that I read did it the way I wanted it done....so I changed it up a little bit.

Hi John, I have not done mine because I am often towing with them all the way out, was worried they would shake. Can you give me your parts pick list? I would like to make that change.
Thanks,
