The TR is a cheap thrill these days- just so damned dated looking. The 355 is still very contemporary looking but not much of a daily driver- more toy than car. And if you think the Porsche is expensive to fix...

I just bought a Shelby GT 500 and should be receiving my full Griggs Racing coil over suspension any day. It is extremely fast and not that common (not easily mistaken for a GT). I am 44 and I don't see any kids in them. Lots of cool upgrades available so it is fun to drive and tinker with. I am a Ford die hard but I also have a BMW Z8 and mini cooper "S" in the stable.
I was very pleasantly surprised how well screwed together the car was and even with the stock suspension it handled pretty dang well.:ernaehrung004: Griggs claims up to 1.5Gs laterally with their suspension so it can be made to handle;http://www.griggsracing.com/ |

a buddy of mine just picked one up two weeks ago i have been looking at them since ford brought them out but ford pi$$ed me off with them when the dealers were asking 10k over list now you can buy one for msrp or under and why ford does not give a gear option i think they come with 323 or 321 gears.with the grigs suspension the car should handle great and look good ford has them sitting about 2 inches to high get a steeda upper pulley and a tune on it and 373 s the car will ba a beast good luck with it

Thanks;
Gear swap is just one of the many upgrades I am planning. I am not crazy about used cars and this one packed a big bang for the buck. Like I said, quality is very good too. If you thought Ford dealers gouged, try a BMW dealer when they release a new hot model. They are doing you a favor just to talk to you let alone sell you the car. When I got my Z8, some dealers were demanding 100% (+) mark-up on an already very expensive car.:cool: |

New Steeda
Buy a new GT and send it down to Steeda. Steeda can put a Kenne Bell and full suspension and a Shelby cant touch it.
