Winch stand....

Does anyone know where I can find a winch stand that will bolt on to my trailer?

I am looking for the kind of stand that has 2 small bunks shaped like a V that the bow sits up against.

I was looking at the Myco setups and it's something like that.

The problem with my trailer is it has just a single square channel stand and I don't think it is strong enough for the weight of my boat.

I am looking for something sturdier than what I have now.

Load Master Trailers of OHIO has a unit that is adjustable that they sell ala carte. The bow support and winch stand are separate units. You will have to dig a bit here or on Google to find their website.

There are two Load Master trailer companies. One in Ohio and one in Florida.

Have a local welding company make you something. I've never seen one substantial enough- even from Myco. The one on my tyrailer will not allow the boat to budge. If I really F-up one day and rear-end someone, the last thing I need is a 14,000 boat rammed up my a$$.

I fabricated mine out of 2.5" x 3" 3/8" wall box tube. It's welded to the main draw tube on the trailer with a reinforcement plate underneath it.

Here are a few pictures of one that I made for Magnum Marks Apache. Maybe you can get some ideas from this...
