In all honesty they are nice looking cars, but have basically zilch for an aftermarket. When you find a 6.1 SRT Hemi in any platform dodge/jeep put it in making 750 HP, please let me know, you will not find one I promise. Not even the built, stroked, and SCed modern day 6.1 Hemi can make it period. Last week I was told they were starting to put 6.1 Hemi engines in bayliners...........

Correct, the 6.1 isn't doing 750....the dyno shop that tuned my car did a stroked 426 with a 8.5 psi SC that was near 700hp (can't remember exactly). After market is thin but parts are starting to be developed (just expensive!!)
But what today IS making 750 hp anyway?...not much that I know of. Part of what I bought the car for was looks, if I wanted nothing but speed I would have bought and MOD'ed mustang and looked like everyone else on the block.

If you are getting 700 out of a 6.1 Hem then you are the man. My GSMed one would come no where near that, not even 600, and it was a time bomb then. I haven't seen much more aftermarket for the hemi than what was out say 2 years back in the day. I sure hope since benz no longer owns them they'll be able to rid the torque management and do a decent tune on them.
There is a plenty of 5.4L fords making 700 + HP, hitting the tracks all day long, even drove there to be honest with you. Look at the GT500 SS, it can be bought showroom with 750 "non-warrantied" HP. Dodge needs to either step up to the plate with competition, or either stick to the mini-vans. The challenger is just hitting the street and already way behind from the jump as far as performance goes. Thank god for the baby-boomers, cause they'll keep the sales alive on them, it sure will not be performance driven.
