What brand and thread ,do i best put on stock 16" dually rims on front axle ?

I've been very happy with the P235/70R17 Michelin LTX M&S I put on my 2006 quad cab Dodge dually. Light years ahead of the POS Generals it came with. They ride and handle great and no road noise whatsoever. As for offroad I couldn't tell you how they handle, never had it in the mud...

I went with BF Goodrich AT but I went with a lot bigger than stock tire looks good and has a good ride 315-75-R16

Dually question for all of you: Do you rotate dually tires? If so can you just move the rims around or do you have to dismount/remount the tires in order to move them (are the rims interchangable?).

You can always rotate all 6 without dismounting, it just depends on how good you want them to look.

Steel wheels with simulators will be the same no matter where you put them, since the simulator covers the wheel. Aluminum wheels depend on whether or not the wheel is polished on both sides. Some of the cheaper ones are only polished on one side, so people typically just rotate them side to side. Steers are always steers, inners are always inners and outers always outers. They just get moved L to R.

If they're polished on both sides and you keep up on your polishing, you can rotate all 6.
