If you do go with new fenders let me know if you want to sell the old ones.

It's from all the money I saved by selling the race boat! Now that we know where to get the needed parts, your 450 could be done in just a few days!

Ok, it's been a while since I have posted an update, but the project was put on hold for a few weeks while waiting for the rear fenders to arrive. The parts got hung up in Texas compliments of Hurricane Ike, but they finally arrived and have been painted and installed. Here are some shots of the truck at the paint shop.

Rather than just bolting them in place, the flares were glassed to the wider rear fenders so that they wouldn't look like an add on or an after thought. Since we were doing that glass work, we also widened the front and rear of the wheel wells to give the tires a little more clearance. It was a lot of work, but the end result is something that looks 100% like it came from the factory.

The rear fenders still need to be tightened up and are missing the lights and fender liners in these pictures, but you can get the idea of what the finished product will look like. Oh yea, for those wondering about the paint on the rear bumper, we are going to Rhino Line (in black) all of the step areas. Otherwise the paint would look like crap in a hurry in those spots.

We finally got it back outside today. I snapped these pics when they moved it to the detail booth. It will be ready to go tomorrow so I will get some better pictures then.
