I know, everyone has them for $10K off, maybe even $12K if you squeeze 'em hard enough. But these guys saying this truck can be had new for $38K are living a pipe dream.

Dealer in North Palm Beach still has 4 brand new 2007 2500 Diesels in stock. MSRP was 43K new, Memorial Day sale blowout was 29K and he still owns all 4 trucks as of this week.

Do a little research, show up with a check in hand and you will find the deal. I thought the guy on the other thread did real well on his 07 Ford Ext Cab diesel for 15K...... The deals are out there.......

They are at Schumacher NPB on Northlake at 95. All 4 are white, black cloth interior. All are 2500, 2WD Diesels. 2 are crew cabs/ 2 are extended cabs. None have over 25 miles on them. They are LS trim, LT gets the upgraded interior.

I told the guy in June I would pay 25K for a Crew cab, he wouldn't come off 30K. When I showed him my camera phone pic of the Memorial Day price on the windshield of 29K he thought it was a misprint. Downside is they are essentially 2 year old brand new trucks. I like them but for the right price, especially since any truck trade is going to be priced at rough book or less.........

BTW they are new body style trucks not classics.

Biggest holdback for me was they had split bucket seats but no center console/ just an armrest type console. My 03 has bucket seats with a full console which is full of junk, change, tools, pens etc. I just couldn't fit all that crap in the armrest style one.

If they were LTZ's I would have bought one.........

Looking at one new just like it, stickers at 56k, with rebates, finance rebate, commercial rebate, can buy at 39k dealer here in Missouri, told dealer I would think on it. He has called me 5 times in 2 days almost begging me to buy the truck, He has had it for a while too. they will deal big time right now. rebate alone was 8k, plus 1k before any discounting,

I'm the other guy! This dealer decided it was time to move what he had. He also sold an 06 extended cab F350(cloth intereior but well optioned) with new tires and 61K miles for 13K. I actually offered 14K and he came back at me @16,300.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...AVRI&viewitem= I called him and worked out the deal on the 07. He said he was going to wait out the market until next year. Might not be a bad idea if you are looking to give him a call. He seems to be straight up(was with my deal) and attends the auctions. Called me about a couple of prospects(I really wanted a crewcab).

I honestly believe if you are going to get a deal the time is now. If fuel prices stay down they will and seem to be rebounding quickly. I had several on my ebay watch list and all are bringing quite a bit more than I paid. Hunt know and offer quick!!!!
