thanks guys for all the reply's , I think I going to go with a 08 f250 or a 08 dodge mega cab. I like the ford better but, Dodge has more room in the cabin.

I have 34,000 miles on mine. Had a oil leak last week, the dealer had to replace the cam seal o-rings. The only problem I've had. I have the Edge Juice computer on mine and it made it come alive. I pull a Mistress and a Top Gun, NO Problem. 19 to 21 mpg on highway, towing 10 to 11.5 mpg. Very happy.

I've had two 6.0s a late 04 Harley F250 and an 06 SWB F350 dually with a 6.0, the 04 had an injector issue within the first 2 months under warranty and never saw a dealership again, the 06 had some EGR problems and I bought a spare one and when the check engine light came on(app every 15,000 miles) I'd swap EGR valves and clean the one I took out and swap it the next time.(they carbon up and stick) the 06 NEVER saw the dealership after it left, and I just bought an 08 with a 6.4 and I'm cautiously optimistic so far.
Both of my trucks ran the Edge with Attitude programmers and a Bassani 4" turbo back exhaust with an Airaid intake system and ran fantastic.

The 7.3L was bullet proof, the 6.0L has had EGR and injector problems.Ford has had several up dates to correct the problems.Be careful of the chips, tech center claims they cause headgasket problems. The 6.4L has been ok so far, sounds a little crazy when the exhuast reburn system kicks in.The 6.4 in the 2008 started production in Feb. of 2007,this is a great sign that we have not had any problems.
