I've got one, 06 2500 4x4 Laramie with the Cummins except mine's a 4sp auto with the 3:73 gears. I've got 23K trouble free miles on here now. The only 2 things this one doesn't have is the Sun Roof and the Center Console.

Make sure to check to see if it's got the LSD (limited Slip Differential). Surprisingly it was an option. When I was shopping for mine there were a lot of them without it.

Good luck with your search.

I don't normally direct people to other websites but if it is Dodge and Diesel then there is no better resource then the www.Turbodieselregister.com

I am a GM man myself but I give credit when it is due. The cummins is a GREAT motor. If I was going to buy one it would be a manual trans. Just my .02

With the 5.9 definitely, I never liked the old 4 speed auto with the 5.9, hated that combo always felt doggy and out of the power band. Buddy got rid of his quickly after towing a few times for a 6 speed manual 5.9 . The new 6 speed auto is a great trans paired to the new 6.7

I have a '03 3500 Dodge crew cap with the 5.9 and 6 speed manual. I am about to hit 270,000 mile on it! Just this month I put my first clutch in it and replaced the injectors. I have had some miner problems along the way but over all I have loved this truck.
