Actually, the tires helped out alot....highway. 20 plus MPG.It drops my rpms down just enough to cruise 75 below 2000rpms. It seems with or with the tires and lift over 2000rpms on the highway is where it starts to eat some fuel. Now towing is another story.... highway still got 12.2 mpg, city not to sure yet but its not like I will be towing around town for fun. I did lose torque and the truck does have to work alittle harder to tow in city but overall I'm not complaining! the truck is paided for and I'm the only owner it has ever had.

Just got this new truck a few weeks ago. Its my first diesel. Love it so far. Boat is tucked away for the winter so I haven't gotten to put the two together yet.

Great color choice whites the way to go. Diesels are great, I'm on my first for the 4th year, 05 silverado 2500 89K and love it just keep an eye on the fuel filter life. I change mine every 2nd oil change just to be safe. Good Luck.
