Nothing to be embarrassed about there. I love those old school Liberators. I almost bought a 26' with twins before I bought mine. I just wanted something a little larger.

My little fishing boat... Without the rear end of the truck full of tools it actually sits straight with the auto leveling system. Drives like a caddy and loves gas. K-2500 w/8.1 L

tows fine, 8.1 allison tranny, stops fine as well. Dave and I had to to some hard braking on the way to The Don Aronow race and it handled it perfectly, the lower center of gravity really helps. when we went to NY, my buddy with a diesel and I compared totals, we were within a few bucks, although I bought more gas, the diff between diesel and gass added out to be the same dollar wise.

Well when it comes to towing heavy loads(10k+) with Class 3 one ton trucks I want a diesel. Over 12K I want a gooseneck trailer.
