I would fix it and trade it @ a gmc dealer for a GMC !!!!
They would give u top dollar since you are willing to change brand !!!
Then find a ford that u like and trade again @ a ford dealer out of state one that u trusst and has good business relations with costumers !!!!!
Sound tuff ,,,but is easy!

This is what you need...don't know if it is still for sale or not. might have to register to see the ad as well. In a nut shell it is a 2005 F-450 with a Cummins 6.7 Conversion and lots of extras.

Well I spoke with customer relations yesterday morning and they basically just take the information down and refer you to a customer resolution specialist within two business days. Last September when radiator number three was going in this was the same process with obviously not the result I was looking for. I applied for the paperwork for the Autoline program from the BBB. I should get a hearing with an independent arbitrator within 40 days if they feel that I qualify. The hearing resolution is binding on the manufacturer but not on the customer. I guess before wasting time and money on an attorney I should try this first. From the looks of some of the posts there are some F-450 customers with situations as bad or worse that Ford doesn't give a chit about. We are a three employee company and this truck is used for my business as well as pulling my boat. What good is the Ford Focus going to do for me????? Looks like my poker run season may get a huge adjustment to

The bigger problem these days is the financial situation that the Big Three are in. The selling dealer told me that Ford will fight me to the bitter end as far as taking the truck back. The dealer is even having a hard time getting rebate and other dealer program payment. This conversation came about as I went to the sales manager and asked if the owner of the dealership would call someone with a significant position at Ford and try to help out. The manager informed me that the owner wouldn't be willing to do that because Ford just doesn't care. Nice huh!!!

Lemon law here in California is simple. I did it with a new suburban, painless and cheap. It took 3 weeks start to end. NY should be similar. Ford will do nothing out of the kindness of their heart, they must be forced!......OH BTW...The latest 6.4 problem that is showing up is the aluminum wall behind the water pump is cavitating creating pinholes, allowing coolant to pass into the crankcase oil.....nice huh.....class action, class action, class action...

I think GLH has the fix. I don't care for the engines offered in the pickups except for the Cummings, then I'm not excited about the truck it's in. Seems like either the engine or the autotrans sucks in all of them.

Here's my suggestion. After you do a Lemon Law on the Ford. Look for a good low milege Dodge with the Cummins or buy a Sterling while they still make them. The Sterling is a 4500 or 5500 series Ram with the Cummins and heavy duty setup. This is my 03 Ram 3500 pulling a Formula 357 SR1.
