2500 HD traction problem
I have a 2008 Chevrolet 2500 HD 2WD. It has a locking differential and stock Bridgestone 245 75 tires. It's been doing a good job pulling the Baja but now, after 8000 miles of wear, it's started spinning on the ramps. I've lowered the air to 50 psi but it's still spinning. Tires?

Most likely. Depending on what Bridgestones you have.
I put Firestones on my 2500HD (they're not all terrain) and I have to use 4 WD to pull anything out of the water since I put them on. I had BFG A/T's before and almost never needed 4 WD. With 2 WD you are going to need an All Terrain tire to get it done on wet ramps.

With my 2WD 2500 diesel I only got stuck at one ramp about 6 months ago (my local one, I use it all the time). Don't know why it slipped that day but I still use it even with the same bald tires that I had before. I suspect someone spilled something like oily bildge water as the boat was coming out of the ramp. Nothing a tow strap couldn't fix though!

I have the same truck without the locking rear differentials and dont have any issues spinning. I'm only pulling a 23' baja (soon to be a 28 Heat)but can take off as fast as I want and wont spin (unless of course I hammer it). I have 305/55/20 Nitto Graplers. They hook up on everything I have went threw so far. Ive enen decided to go 2 wheel driving (you would think I wouldnt try it since its not 4wd )and made it threw some stuff I wouldnt have if it wasnt for the tires.

sand and rock quarries always have scales. they need to know weights for amount they charge customer and safety liabilities.
walk in one day w/out rig and ask if you can come in some sat.
thats how we weighed off road race cars/trucks and the porsches.
six pak of cokes will get 'er dunned.
