I dont think a bodyshop would spend the money to buy it, than dish out big bucks for a new cab and all the labor than sell for 6K. Maybey a used cab or banged out the dents.

Ok, so here is the scoop... I didn't go look at the truck because I can't seem to get straight answers. I found out that the truck actually has the 5.3L motor, NOT the 6.0L. The guy doesn't have any paperwork for any of the repairs or motor swap like I was told originally. Everything just seems too sketchy to me, so I'm going to pass. Honestly, I think the truck was a 1500 with the 5.3L and a lift kit was installed. There is no logical explanation why they would put a 5.3 into a truck designed for a 6.0, but that's my thoughts. Anyways, thanks to everyone for your input and I hope you all enjoy the holiday season!!!!

Can't get a 5.3 powered 2500 from the factory.... Wheels could give it away, 2500's are 8 lug (some 1500HD's came with 8 lugs too) and 1500's are 6 lug.
