did you move the axles?Looks ok. If your still light on the tounge I would modify the front of the trailer (bow stop and winch)to get the boat a little more forward. easier than moving axles even if you have to cut and weld. safer too IMHO.

If you lower your bowstop closer to the ring you can move the boat forward no sweat

Wow 12,000 lbs for a 31 ft, thats really seems alot, did you weigh it, i have a 38 ft Top Gun with a Myco Trailer, i thought that was around 12,000 lbs

Your TG weighs real close to the Formula 382 I just sold.....On an aluminum trailer full of fuel I was well over 15,000 lbs.

hmmm, just by the pics if you can move the bow stop forward and move the bunks forward, that should help. I'm always a little leery of bunks that hand out that far, to me they should be even with the back of the trailer.

The axles are still in the same position. I moved the winchstand as far forward as possible, had to drill holes in the I-beams to mount. The roller is just above the bow ring and the whole assembly is as high as possible on the stand. Finally spoke to who trailer was bought from and he is sending me a taller winch stand and will pay for the labor of moving the axles back. Moving them back somewhere around 12", which should give me around 750 lbs. on the tongue.

That will be a much better setup! Good luck :drink:

a quick fix might be find out what the axle ratings are and if there heavy enough take the front axle off...... if not it looks like the trailer is way to short for that boat. I dont know how long you extended the tounge but i would think about six to eight feet is what it should be.

i bet if you move the boat about 18" forward and have a new front stop made it will be fine..............
