The 6.0's can make more power and are quieter. The 7.3's are stone cold reliable. There are some horror stories on the 6.0's. Some people seem to have had good luck with them some seem to have had horrible.
I have a 2000 7.3. Great truck...... Looking now for a 7.3 Ex to pull and haul a crew. 7.3 is tough to beat. |

Stay away from the 6.0 like everyone else has mentioned.
You cannot go wrong with the 7.3... I had two of them and had no major problems at all. In my opinion nothing like the torque of I-6. My dream truck would be the Super Duty Crew Cab, Cummins motor and Allison Transmission!:evilb: |
