I've been having the same problem with the calipers on my disc brakes, tri-axle with six wheel brakes. When one starts hanging up I replace the caliper and no more problem....except I'm on my third caliper in three years and would rather find the problem and resolve it than to keep replacing....anybody have any ideas?:angry-smiley-038:

Fixx
make sure the trailer is level,,too much on the drop hitch and the trailer will lein forward on the ball and apply pressure.. Also if they were over heated the springs on the backing plates will get weak and and the shoes will hang up from the springs not pulling the shoes back in place..and one more,it your brake shoes are over adjusted they will awell and apply pressure and will boil the fluid and cause little tiny air bubbles in the line that will apply pressure..over filled master will also cause the problem..keep the fluid 1/2'' below the cap on the master.

I have Kodiak disc brakes and it's the left rear that seems to get the hung up brake. I think my resevoir may be over filled, I'll check it.
