All BS aside, honest to god truth. My experience in the stores that I run, we sell alot more Ford vehicles in general especially trucks, and the service business in the GM store is about 30 percent more than the Ford store. So I rely on GM to pay my bills, bar tab and to put gas in my boat!

I am sure Fixxer will back me up on this but the 6.0 litre Ford is not as bad of a motor than it has made out to be. The main problem with this motor is misdiagnosis. If every Ford dealership in the country had a tier 1 diesel tech I would bet the opinions would be different. 6.4 is solid motor, but when it fails it fails hard, poor mileage is its biggest compliant!
As far as the 2011 Diesels we have sold 5 Fords and 0 Chevy's. Ask anybody in the biz Ford outsells Chevy hands down. Haven't had any complaints on the new Fords yet, except for the price or urea(DEF).

there are soooo many 6.0s out there. they are not that bad to work on. but that being said people mess them up. you get a good tech and no issues. update them... fix what is a known issue with updated parts. there will be no more issues. and i think that the parts for just the updates to the high pressure oil system cost less that $150.
the only thing i stand behind as far as a modification is to delete the EGR. that is the weak link. its just not tough enough on the 2004.25 and up. sorry to the tree huggers

Craig's made our poker run a few times and I've never been to his. If it hadn't been for Gustav a couple of years ago I would have done it then. If I could just get Craig to schedule around LSU home games.....
