What to buy?

So i have made the decision to move up. I have a 08' F150 right now and will be in the market for a F250 Or single rear wheel F350. My budget is some where between $25,000 - $35,000.

I am looking for what diesel motors are the best and the ones to stay away from. I also like the quad cab.

If you know any for sale please feel free to post a link.

Email me at [email protected] if you are interested in a 08' F150.

Thanks for your help ahead of time!

Quad cab is Dodge(until 2010, then they went to crew cab).

As to diesel engines, Cummins and Duramax lead the pack. I would not touch a Powerstroke unless it was the 7.3(not offered after 2003). Your budget excludes the new 6.7 Powerstroke, but you should be able to get leather and lots of other options within your budget.

Happy hunting!

Man all the powerstroke haters! LOL, so ford had another bad idea. I love my 01 crew cab dually 7.3, present issues excluded which I brought on myself. With $25K to spend and wanting a big cab something older as an 03 should be right in his ball park and then some for some unexpected upgrades. I might try a Duro but never a cum Quat, Too damn loud, all that clacking. The PS is loud enough alreadt. with the banks upgrades. My 2ct's.

I wouldn't be caught dead in a truck with an isuzu engine. Get a 2006 ford that still has the engine warranty and have the head studs done under warranty and enjoy.

Go say that on the Cummins forum and see what response you get. What a wimp. If you want silence buy a Prius.
