If you have not had a diesel before the Dmax will make you a convert. You will definately love the power, longevity and quiet of the Dmax.

I have an 03 and when I drove the 08 I couldn't believe how fast and quiet it was. I can only imagine what the 2011's are like (more hp, torque)!

I test drove the new lml. It's nice but they want too much for new trucks. My lbz will last me a while yet.

the 1500 denali has a 6.2 motor the 2500 HD denali has 6.0 or a Dmax . the dealer let me take home the 6.0 to try pulling the outlaw but we are having an ice storm today so I don't think that will happen. He is letting me also try the Dmax .

head to your FORD dealer quick ......:drink::drink::drink:

I was towing a 24' Formula with04, 6.0L and 4:10's. A long hill would make it shift out of OD but when it accelerated after the down shift it would pick up speed till we went over the hill.

looking to pull a 29 outlaw with a 2011 gmc crew cab it's rated to pull 9300lbs . the truck is a 6..0 with 3.73 gears .any thoughts will help.

3/4 ton 6.0 chevy rated at only 9300lbs? A 1/2 ton Tundra with the 5.7 is rated at 10K+lbs :lolhit:

Edit: Not trying to be an d*ck but it made me laugh.

I'm shocked. My ex had a 2004 Chevy Avalanche 2wd with a 5.3 and we couldn't get any better than 13mpg out of it just commuting with it.
