They are asking $19k, I think (hope) I could get it for $15k.
My only reservation/concern is this will mainly be used to pull the boat and a dump run a couple times a year, I don’t like to have $15k sitting doing nothing but loosing value. I could sell/trade my 2007 ½ ton and add $15k and have a 2010-2011 ¾ ton for the same amount of money.

Mine is a 2000 F350 V10 Lariat crew cab long box 4 x 4 with 99K miles on it. Super shape. Paid $10K for it.

I love diesels as much as anyone else, but as much as you would use it, id buy a clean gasser. Fuel is cheaper (although MPG and power is less) and it would cost less to buy initialy.
I know thats not what you asked, i would expect for someone to ask about 17ish for a clean truck like that. goodluck

We had a record snow fall starting in Nov. You cannot even find a 4x4 truck (Gas/Diesel) for under $15k. I have not limited myself to Diesel, I have been looking at everything 3/4 ton and above.
If I cannot pick this one up for a good deal, I will probably hold off until spring when everybody who bought them for winter will sell them.
Baja 302 - I would be all over that for $10k.

That's why I bought A gasser. All I use it for is up and down the ramp at the marina. Saw no reason to fork out the extra cash for a diesel to move it twice a year - once to winter storage and back to the marina in the spring. It's nice to have a truck sitting around in case I need it, but it mostly just sits.

Nice truck, how are the exaust studs on it??? I am researching how to fix them for good on another truck currently, have 2 broken ones on a 04 truck. I do not mean a replacement, but a permanent fix, maybe headers and stainless bolts?

Buy the headers and bolts and have them stress-relief shaken and/or cryo treated.

As far as the exhaust studs go, I was unaware of this common issue when I bought it but have read info on it since and will look into it. It runs strong and pulls hard (for a gasser).

Did the ford v10 have the same problems the v8s have with the spark plug popping out of the head and taking the threads with it? Thus ruining the head...sorry to hijack.
I found a older body style ford (95ish) on the austin CL yesterday Xcab 4x4 powerstroke with like 220k miles for 8500...it was pretty clean tho (just tried to find it again and couldnt)

Pete, my father in law has a 2000 F350 Lariat Crew cab dually 7.3 auto 4x4 that he said he would let go of for $17500 111,000 miles, black in color. On a 1 to 10 I would call it a 7 on overall appearance. PM or call 503-910-4735 We are not that far from you. Pete

here is some tx, ok pricing on the fords. I have a 1999 f350 4x4 4dr sb srw xlt white diesel. I paid 10500.00 for it 2 yrs ago and it has a new motor in it with now 75k on motor and 200k on body. clean one owner rig. Just found another 1999 f350 2wd dually xlt 7.3 auto that I bought for 8000.00 with 143k on odo. was used to pull a show car trailer. I went ahead and did both the turbo pedestal orings and the fuel filter orings..

I have been looking at trucks up to 500 miles away from my area, maybe I will look further. One good thing is I have time on my side, I will not need it until June of this year.
Currently I am only looking at trucks with less than 100k miles.
