And jeeze....if I put in a $13,000 drive train consisting of an now obsolete 800hp sb2 and a Jerico 4 spd transmission I could give it a run in the top speed dept....I dug around the web and found my actual car qualified at Michigan at 178 mph in 2001 so he was prob touching 200 on the straights.....so there you have it...buy a Chevy!

Oh and handling.....we dont need no stinking handling!
When you are from Oshawa you arent allowed to own anything else.

Cars do absolutely nothing for me. You can get a nice enough car for $50k. All other money should be spent on boats and chicks or you're just wasting resources.

You live in NJ, carjacking capital of the world and you haven't seen snow free pavement in months! So in your situation cars are simply transportation.....

But in S. Florida a Kia isn't going to reel in the ladies the way a 458 Ferrari would (my buddy got one yesterday and feels like a celebrity).

50K would get you a new Corvette, slightly used M3, 911 or 650 convertible so you can still get a lot of bang for the buck.

That being said, my last car was a new 02 M3 convertible and I sold it because I wasn't driving it much. My wife's last remarkable car was her 04 A8L and then she wanted an SUV for kids/dog etc. There are two GMC's in my driveway today...purposeful but not exciting!
