I'm gonna have my detailer go over it with clay and put a shine on it. The stuff he uses is hard as a rock when its done.. He does my Ferrari every 3 weeks or so and I usually wash it at the carwash with a wand a couple times in between and it still beads water and grime off.. Luckily this black has a lot of metallic flake in it so it should hide scratches a little better than triple black.

clay is good idea but if its a new vehicle your wasting money on it as its not going to do anything. You really have to wait about a year for clay to be effective. Although there could be some contaminents from shipping and on the lot.

Central WI driving with 180 miles on this tank and my avg is 22.1 MPG. All back and forth to work with a few trips to town, 70 hwy 30 city. It seems like every tank just gets better and better. 11,080 miles.

blacks a beootch though, last two trucks of mine were black and still have a black camaro. But nothing like a black vehicle.

Lessons I have learned from the camaro, 2-3 coats of wax per year, and every wash use ICE. That has helped BIG time.

I've had 5-6 black vehicles & I learned that white is WAY easier to take care of....so my new EB is white. I'm keeping my 250(6.4) for a while. I may convert it into an airplane (that means sell it & use the casIFAD a down payment) if the EB turns out to be what everyone says it is here.

Ive had 2 black trucks, one red, now white. Overall as far exterior appearance the white has been the best as far as upkeep. Black again is the sweetest looking ride, but I had enough of HAVING to wash it once a week. Now even if it rains i can go two weeks even 3. Silver is actually the best color of them as far as keeping the appearance nice though.

thats dang good, but if hes mainly straight shot no stop and drives longer distances I would beleive it as the truck would start learning that act accordingly.

3.31 and 4x4. If I don't tow the boat, looks like this tank will be 500+ miles :drink:

10 mile one way trip to work, and a total of 4 stops for sure (stop signs) and could possibly be 7 stops if I get all red lights.

thats really good. But I guess if you feather it and keep it at 30 you could probably get there. But its impressive hearing some of these stories. 331 helps alot though too.
