Default fixx

something to keep in mind when towing with a h1,the brake pads and rotors are inboard next to the diffs.when braking all the slop from the drop boxes and all the slop in the cv shafts causes the vehicle and the boat to rock back and forth when stopped..it feels kinda funky..anything under 3k is ok but over that it gets real hairy..

Guys, I have a pretty built dually that i tow my boat, and gooseneck with.

I was just asking for some general info not "you should go buy x"

I know in the offroad community guys are pulling 18-20 trailers with a crawler on the back, but i have not read anywhere about performance or issues.

I agree that i think one with a duramax and a correctly setup suspension would probably be a nice hauler, but have not seen one in real life.

I had a 2002 h1 and towed a bit with it. Not a good choice. Worse than the power is that it would overheat when towing over 60mph. The hood design didn't let much air over the radiator. Cool trucks but not for towing.

Any modern "x-over" suv would be better and safer than an H1 towing lol.
