I think the tv show is showing exactly what Uship is about, you could probably find someone that would do that run for 1200 with his gas job 3500 van, LOL I loved that idiot towing that huge trailer with that gas jobber, pretty sur ehis break down was a typical intake gasket, DUH, also noticed he wasn't running dot numbers, I love all the guys on there "borroing" there friends trailer, What a joke, but it is a great show and entertaining
People need to get real with the times and costs these days, on the flip side you may find someone needing a return haul and he/she may do it cheaper, but thats just the luck of the draw

I used to have a 2007 3500 SRW van, got 13 mph empty, and 9 -10 loaded. I can't imagine what it would have got towing a steel framed 24-26ft car hauler!!! And this dude is running it from FL to NY for $900? HOW?
Still fun to watch. Some of those "buddies" they call in are already there, they are driving the chase vehicle that gets thos camera angles

I did a back haul off Uship when I delivered my Toronado to the buyer in Ohio. It worked well for my fuel situation, diesel-not a gasser, and paid for my stay and food.
When I do this stuff I take pics and do all kinds of documentation just to keep everything straight. If something was a setup then I will have all the proof needed to keep me clean.

Look I have been around for a long time a lot of you know me some of you dont if you want to be a legit hauler it costs you a buck a mile for the truck to sit in your driveway legitimately insured registered and DOT legal....thats before the fuel and expense to run it.....$3.00/mile for a non permitted load is more than fair if they are good customers and repeat often $2.25 and up for non permitted load is really doing someone a favor!!!! So now go and do your own cost analysis and tell me how far off I am.....Hell it costs you almost $200.00 just to drive up the toll roads in the northeast empty!!!!
