back up solenoid
Does anyone know how to bypass or eliminate the back up solenoid. I like to move boat around with a forklift and the Tlr tires lock up. How does it work ? Where exactly is it? Thanks for any info. Jason

The solenoid keeps the tires from locking up when backing up. You need to apply power to it, 12V, and it will lock out the line so the surge coupler does not apply pressure to the brakes. You could use a jump box to apply 12V via a jumper wire.
...or just wedge a piece of 2x4 under/behind the surge slide.
...or use a giant C-clamp on the tongue to prevent it from sliding.

All of the tractors we use to move boats around the marina have a flat 5 plug with fused power run to the blue lead and the white lead grounded. Simply plug in and move.
