Done right using the Lisle tool you should not have to pull the heads.

Love my GM trucks, and nothing beats a SBC for reliable affordable power (except maybe a BBC haha).

Had 2 GM, 4 Ford, 2 Dodge, 2 Toyotas... buy a Ram.

masi242 04-17-2012 07:46 PM

Bought the ram because some of my friends had them and were a little cheaper big mistake. Next truck will be GM or Ford.

As someone that owns a repair shop and has been a mechanic all my life, i would recommend a GM product. I can't believe Ford can still sell a pickup after the 5.4 spark plug and the 6.0 diesel fiasco's.

If you look up dodge in the dictionary it says; to avoid. Webster wouldn't lie.

In my experience I bought a 2001 Tahoe back in 2001 that lasted 3 years, and I went through 2 transmissions. granted I'm in sales and drive about 50k a year but in 2003 I purchased a new avalanche, guess what! This truck took a sh!! in 4 years when it lost oil pressure going down the highway at 75 mph. Never agian will I buy a chevy, I have a F150 and F250 that have never given me a problem.
