Hello, so I have this 1986 Formula 272 sitting on a roller trailer. Trailer has like 56 rollers on it or something, seems pretty high. boat weighs in around 6000 lbs with some stuff on it.
what range of manual winches should I be looking at? It has a 1200 pound on it now, doesn't seem like much.
any suggestions.
Thank you, brian

A larger winch is not that much more $$ but the larger, heavier components make winching much nicer and more reliable. The heavier teeth will not have a tendency to strip on those last few tight "clicks" like a light duty will.
2way ratchet makes launching on steeper ramps a little safer and more controled.
I just put a Fulton F2 3200 on mine. WOW! very smooth operation. Spools nicer than most, with a solid feel.
