Remember to get the 11,300 towing you have to get the MAX TOW not just the tow package. And max tow requires 3.73 gears and I dont think you can get them with e lockers in the rear just limited slip.
I think you're right that max tow only comes in limited slip. My dads is 3.73 e lock w/o max tow and the rating is 9800.. I think he paid about 32 after everything was said and done but his is supercab.

aug- oct SHOULD net you the best prices, if your interested in a 12. When 13s come out youll probably see a couple grand off.

Personally I think Ford is offering these massive rebates on these to encourage the buy in of their product.

Last fall in late August I was even able to order from factory my truck and get all the deals so I didnt have to suffer with what was left on the lot. So pretty much got a late late late 11 and was probably rolling off the line with 12s

Been following the used market, it seems like if you save enough you can skip a new one and buy a used one for the same price These just aren't coming down in price. The word must be out!

posted this another thread but thought Id give you another experience.

just to give another update. Went to one of our boating spots this weekend thats about 40miles away. I had time so I decided to play with speed and see what MPG was. One way I set it at 62 and averaged 14.4mpg the other way about 56mph and got 15.9mpg thats towing 9500lbs. Impressed to say the least.

That is very impressive for a V6! I averaged about 14 yesterday (60 mile round trip) to the lake pulling about 8000lbs max. In my defense, I am not deleted yet (Cummins 6.7 slight lift on 33s)

That's just amazing. I would be lucky to hit 16 MPG w/o towing at all with my old 5.4L... haha

Best I've seen is 16.4 which was about a 40 mile one way trip cruise at 56 mph towing the 25 OL
