What's up with NAPA $$ ?
Wanted to have an extra Oil filter around for my Ford 6.7. For a Napa (Wix) the price is $28.35 with tax. For a dealer oil change the stealer only charged $20. The Motorcraft Fl-2051 from Advance is only $15. The Napa part #7151 the Wix #57151 I got a Wix price of $15 and change. Napa tells me it lists for over $40, checked 2 different stores. Wtf. Beware, Doug

Platinum. (new for synthetic)
Gold (premium)
Silver (okay quality)
Pro Select (budget quality)
NAPA Gold 7151 List 47.70 Cost 22.04
I use only NAPA Gold filters. The support from the parent company in the back ground you don't see it very good. They stay on top of things.

NAPA is a really good parts store. If your good at research they literally have everything....but beware of pricing. I used to buy all my filters from them, but then. I was buying Cat filters from Cat and happened to look at the price....40% less than NAPA even with the trade discount. I took the rcpt from Cat to my local NAPA and said "whats up with this"? Never heard back. I just bought a FL2051 from my local ford dealer for 16.09. NAPA's Price is 29.49.....hmmmm
