Default Equalizer bars w/electric over hydraulic brakes

Now that I'm towing with an Escalade 6.0 ESV I am considering the advantages of a weight distributing hitch. I know that this set up will not work with hydraulic brakes but why would it not work with electric over hydraulic?

Anyone seen this done?

EoH no problem at all

Surge, if not set up properly, the tension applied to lifting the tongue will restrict the actuator movement diminishing braking. Not good.

With your setup, I would certainly switch to EoH. You will be pissed you didn't do it years ago.
