You should research comments you read before you repost them.

Seeing as how I heard from one person in person, multiple places on the internet, I was just posting what I heard. Perspective buyers should do their own research. If you own viper or manufacture it and have a personal interest than I apologize. But thats what I heard and just conveying it. Dont believe everything you hear on the internet.

I don't own Viper, they are owned by DEI - Directed Electronics. DEI builds a majority of 12V security products out there. Clifford and Avital - built by DEI - are 2 of the brands I sell and install in my shop. I've been with them for at least 12 years. I've tried other brands, or going different routes, just to try to make something available to my customer that's a little cheaper. There's not much out there that compares to ANYTHING made by DEI. All of their products are top notch. Their dealer support and technical support is great - without them an alarm company doesn't have much other than a product that can't tell you anything about.

No personal experience just what I have heard that is all.

Aggravating!

I started a thread about buying a Chevy Volt. Asked two simple questions

1. Do you own one?
2. What is your opinion?

You should see the responses! Clearly people have nothing better to do than come on here and spread their useless negative information!

Sometimes I just want to
