snowmobile trailer... it gets alot of thumbs up going down the thruway lol

Lowered f-350 shop truck. It's been all over the country and is still runs good. The dually fenders keep it from going through the car wash on a regular basis. That being said it goes about 1-1.5 years in between washes. This pic is at about .8 years. Lol runs like a champ though and gets 16 mpg pulling the boats.

Did you use a kit to drop the Cummins in your Ford truck, or have to cobble everything together yourself?

Most of the stuff i did, im a fabricator by trade, and bought things like sending unit adapters, tach conversion kit but mostly just lot of searching for places to either buy odds and ends or have it made.by no means hobbled together like everyone tries to attempt.

That's the same thing I was thinking. Beautiful truck and boat but that hitch looks like an accident looking for a place to happen. I'm not a big fan of long drop hitches in the first place and that one looks pretty weak to me. The twisting forces put on that receiver are way more than it was designed to handle. Oh, and what's the point of the other two balls, it can't be rotated to use them?
I know it's a ferd, so it can't be classy but please lose the nutz.:party-smiley-004: Otherwise nice truck, huge! Did you build it or buy it? I have seen a few big orange Ford's like that on sites out on the West Coast as well. |
