New truck to me.

Got a good deal on the duramax so I had to sell the ford and buy it and I have always been a GM guy.
Both 08's general observations, the Duramax gets better fuel economy by about 1 mpg compared to the ford 6.4 11.1 to 12.2 according to the computer. The ford over all towed a little better, just seemed a little smoother. The back springs in the Duramax do not squat as much had to add air bags to the ford. Non towing ride the duramax wins hands down. The interior of the ford was much bigger, not sure on measurements but just felt much bigger.
Bottom line, both are great trucks and do the job very well, the only thing I really miss in the ford is the power folding and extending mirrors those are really nice, especially in tight parking lots.
