Doug, ^^^ that's cool. what was it before you turned it into a hauler? I mean, what chassis combo, a shorty that ran containers around town? How did you convert to a ball hitch? Just curious, cool setup! :cool:

Just picked this one up about a week ago.
2008 Chevy 2500HD LTZ with Duramax and only 60K on the clock.

The International pulled lots of local loads before I removed the 5th wheel and had a friend weld up a tag hitch and build a bed. Not as comfortable as my Kodiaks were and a bit harder to drive shifting through the 10 speed but way more brakes and power. I had been busted for being over length in California at 67ft.10 inches with the Kodiak and boat so now I am legal, under 65ft. With an annual wide load permit. Big truck at half the cost of my medium duty truck. Doug

Did you run boyne thunder this year? I thought I passed you on the highway north of escanaba the day after boyne. Its not often you see a 47 fountain rolling throught the UP! I scared my wife when I saw you roll by "holy s#$t its a 47 on a trailer,! Look! Look! Look!" All she said was I'm definatley going to need a bigger truck if we are to get a 47! Beautiful setup!
