Screw what Brian said that thing is bad ass!!! Buy some Bose headphones, or adapt your boats headset! I'm sure my wife would love the break from hearing me talk about nonsense!!
It is funny, although I've never used it, I don't think I'd want a 2WD truck on a ramp.....

Ya the only thing holding me from buying it. Is that i feel like I'll just burn rubber at the ramps lol. But I think towing on the highway must be a breeze for the Freightliner. I really like that it has cummins and allison transition. The truck was originally an ambulance. But got converted

If I ever end up with a medium, and use it for towing boats, I would likely have a system like this installed.

I had a "poor-mans" FL-50 to tow my TopGun. 2-wheel drive and NEVER had an issue on a ramp. Ever. Ran back and forth to Florida from Maryland more than a dozen times and never noticed or got "tired" from road noise. Most of them have stereos in them!! If you look at the photo of the one in the water at Haulover... Notice that it looks like there is an aluminum flatbed on it. Is that to save weight?
As far as driveability. My Freightliner was easier to park or go thru tight spots than a 2500 Chevy crew cab. the turning radius is much smaller due to the frame rails being narrower. My Wife would drive it to run errands around town... She loved it!!
