Default Commercial towing and liability

What is the protocal with respect to commercial towing and the liability associated with blown tires, bearing problems and other sorts of issues on the haul. Does the contract state that hauler will take care of repairs at a specific rate?

Also, lets say that damage occurs to the vessel (paint and/or gel) as a result of blown tire, hitting debris on the roadway (re-treads, piece of lumber) etc. Is the boat owner on the hook or would this fall under the hauler's liability?

For discussion sake how would it be handled in each scenario? Also, what if it was a third party trailer such as yard trailer from a marina?

Customer trailer is customers responsibility

Haulers trailer haulers responsibility

3rd party trailer then its the customers responsibility unless the customer was 100% unaware that it was a third party trailer. In that rare case the hauler would need to make it right amd try to get 3rd party to at least cover half or all but no guarantee 3rd party would agree.
