Firestone or Airlift bags
#11
I've spent the last fourteen years of my life making a living installing products like this on vehicles for people. Having put dozens upon dozens of air bags on countless makes of vehicles my vote is hands down Firestone.
The bag is heavier built in my opinion, and the brackets make for a more straight forward install.

Air Bags can do wonderful things to make a heavy load, that's within the limits of the vehicle, more enjoyable to tow. They aren't intended to o give one the ability to tow a larger load than what they should be towing.
EDIT......It's fairly obvious that some are confused by the minimum air pressure required to run in these bags. It's 5 psi, not 20 like some have mentioned.

5 psi is what they recommend as their minimum pressure.

I went with a split combo on my new single wheel F350. Firestone rite-rides and the higher grade Airlift wireless compressor. I am impressed so far. I had no expectations as far as ride but I feel it rides better empty. With the 5 psi min in the bags the truck sits 5/8 of an inch higher than without the bags, So the truck is riding on the bags instead of the springs when empty. The truck is always level, hook up the boat go to 15 psi. I haven't had to go above 25 psi. I'm with Buck,I don't use them to overload the truck. You can overload a truck without airbags I see it all the time. I wouldn't be without them now. It tips the scale now at 7550 full of fuel, reg cab srw diesel, bags, gooseneck hitch, Line X bedliner and Reese class 5. I can still put over a ton in the bed with a 10K GVW. I really like this truck. Doug
