Thinking of getting a smaller boat shipped from Medford, OR to Syracuse NY. 20ft, 4000lbs including trailer. Mid April time frame or could be a little later. Any idea's on companies or any guys here making a run anywhere close. If someone was coming to Ohio, Jersey, or anywhere within 300mi of Upstate NY, I could meet them as well.

is u-ship insured? I (I thought) heard bad things... Have you dealt personally with them? $1.25/mi makes this trip unreasonable. Hell I can drive out there, eat well, and spend 4 nights in various hotels for a hair less than $1/mi

Uship is a brokerage -you have to check on ins, experiece, of the driver once they bid.
Unfortunatly 1.25 is dirt cheap - i had quotes of 3 pr mile
sometimes it is cheaper to make the run youself if you have the time.
Sometimes u-ship might turn up someone that combines it on a larger trailer load,
does'nt cost anything to get bids
