A DPF truck will not get 18 mpg more like 12s empty unless you clean house .

Ok dealer confirmed that it's 370 hp and 800tq with 3.73...I'm guessing warranty will be void if I do some deletes

How are these trannys holding up my last dodge was an 01 and it went through 2 of them

look at the sticker on the calve cover,,it will give you the info their..if the production date is after 06/12 then it should have the 800 ftlb engine in it..

So would you pull the trigger on this, how much would delete kit cost

its the worst fuel mileage truck on the road. i have friends that you couldn't pay them to buy another dodge and they are dodge diesel guys that have always had dodge diesel trucks

Wow can't believe it's that bad. I'm really not that impressed with my ecoboost fuel economy either though.

and i have a friend that builds Dynamic tow trucks and alot od his customers are getting rid of their fords for a new dodge tow truck for chitty ford fuel economy when towing..his customers are adveraging 10-12 mpg and the 2012 dodge's are getting 16 towing....

Paintman i think you can get more off the sticker...i would try and get the truck for 52k,,or buy a 2013..

reguards to the transmission,,dont know but my friend had a 04 which were prone for transmissions..the issues is that people are lazy and dont do the proper maintenance to their vehicles..like engine oil the transmission fluid does ware out and if you dont change it every 15 to 20k towing!! you will have transmission issues..also back in the day you had a bunch of dumb a ss's that put the wrong fluids in the trans and they slipped and self destructed....follow what your manual reads on transmission maintenance and you wont have any problems.. the gm 4l80e had issues as well and people named that trand a pos,,i got almost 300 k out of mine by changing the fluid every 15k and i use to snowplow with that trans..it woul still be in the truck today if i did not make the tired mistake and threw the trans into reverse while still going forward and snaped the reverse band..but i was up for 32 hrs plowing and i was not paying attention..
