Good to know. Thanks for the insite. Just hard now a days. Dot guys need to run like $2 a mile to cover cost I heard and from research I've done and people wants boats hauled coast to coast for like $700 it's a joke. But thank you. And if anyone would need a boat for "free" transported feel free to let me know!

Just didn't want you to take it the wrong way. Hell if it wasn't for all the hoops I would have several teams of "motorsports medics" working all sorts of things. The insurance and laws/requirements varying so much state to state make it unfeasible.

U-SHIP is BAD and no offense 315Duramax but your type are what make that website as bad as it is. Your insurance DOES NOT cover what you are hauling, and the owners insurance DOES NOT either.
I find it so funny how "its ok" to do side work for cheaper then someone actually legally making a living doing it. Well how would you feel if your DAY JOB got undercut by someone doing that "side work" illegally?
Sad how some can be so cheap when they need work done for themselves and demand so much for work they do for others?
315Duramax, do yourself a favor and stop wearing out your truck now. I know for a fact you are not making enough money to pay for what you already have invested, save money to re-invest, savings for when something bad DOES actually happen, and obviously not enough to even come close to being legal. I understand that you are just trying to make some money and I also agree the Gov't makes it nearly impossible for ANY of us to get ahead LEAGALLY!
No hard feelings to anyone on here just stating the FACTS
Did I mention U-Ship is bad??

I have a friend that shipped the only CIGARETTE 55 motor yacht from CTto FL and the boat slid off the trailer and did about $300,000in damage. This happened about 3 years ago and things went south as the shipper did not have the correct and valid coverage.I ask anyone that's shipping a boat to obtain a CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE from the boat hauler and forward it to me to make sure it's correct as in most cases the policy does not cover the boat when it's in the care, custody, and control of a commercial boat hauler.

Sy is correct get a certificate of insurance first.sometimes I have my customer named as additional insured for some bigger commercial accounts.
