You are never too old for a vette! If you can still get in one...have at it!

I work at GM and have seen the big shots driving them around for a while now. There are some critics that dont like the new tail lights...I, however, am a fan of them. They are no longer round school bus tail lights! yay!

The interiors are a lot nicer than past vettes and everything else is improved as well...even gas mileage and HP.

Happy Birthday Sy !!

They did a poll on the Corvette Forum and the majority of buyers are over 60, or 65 .

I like what the car is about and its performance,,,, Im having a hard time with the Camaro looking back end.

I say go for it !!

FWIW; even school buses are getting rid of the round lights:

The new car looks great, but I miss the traditional Corvette features
1) Flip up lights. (Gone on C6)
2) Round tail lights. The new tail lights match the new (C7) car, but I miss the roundies/ovals since they've been around for 55+ years.
Does anyone remember the hub-ub about the ZR1 taillights in the 90s? They made them squarish with rounded corners and there was huge dissension among fans.

Look great in pictures and MUCH better in person. Got to examine four different ones at the Frankfurt Auto Show couple of weeks ago. The details of many items don't come out in pictures and are much better than you would generally expect for a GM. Things like the vents are not just plastic black they are painted in a metalic black for instance. Just many really well thought out things and I didn't see any cost cutting areas like in previous vettes (I currently have a 11 GS coupe 6sp). You definately have to see one in person if you are interested. The reviews are over the top. For me I am waiting to see the wide body version Z06 or Z07 whatever they call it. In my opinion that will be the one to wait for.....unless I can't stand the wait :-)

Go call Frank Kerbeck (Corvette dealer and Apache Powerboat owner) right now, and get yourself that Corvette, you are never too old for a Vette. Here's Mr. Kerbeck's Apache, you can buy a car from him and maybe get a new client for your insurance business too, maybe he would have you insure his boat pictured below.. (unless you already have him as a client). HAPPY BIRTHDAY
