I am travelling through OKC early next week and have a set of American Force 22.5" wheels that I would like to have turned down. What about the steel inner duals - can they be turned down as well?

Thanks.

No, you can't turn the steel wheels you will have to get 2 more aluminum ones for the inners.

So are single piece wheels (no adapters) and non-commercial tires (like Nitto for example) the best combination for ride quality?
When I called American Force, the pitch they gave me right out of the gate was that they make so few larger single wheels (some not listed on their website) was because the adapters made them "stronger" wheel kit options.

I put adjustable air bags on the back and dropped the pressure and that did nothing but might have made it worse and when the goobers took my rear wheels off they didn't index them and I could barely drive it home it shook so bad. I went to TAFA which is "Truck Axle and Frame Alignment" in Nashville to have the tires trued and everything aligned and balanced on the truck and the thing rides so much better. Anyone with big truck tires needs to find someone to do this ASAP. If I knew how much difference it made I might still have my F650!! It is amazing and for $350 it saved me a ton of money machining down wheels and new tires etc... Best money I could have spent hands down!

You don't have to machine them down. You can run 22 lt tire on 22.5. Know about 10 people doing it and I have had 4 trucks with it done this way. Pulled big weight no issues. More than a boat will weigh. Ride is great

Im runing 305 35 r24 on 24.5 alcoas unshaved and the ride is like a cadillac. And towing my 8500 pounds boat and never had a problem with it. But i balance the wheels with equal bead. To get the smooth ride.
