LT tires are all that Myco installs.
I ran Firestone TransForce HT on my last trailer, replacing them as they blew out over time. It had cheaper LT tires on there when I bought it. http://www.firestonetire.com/tires/r...Ftransforce-ht If they are good enough for Myco to put on the majority of their trailers, they are good enough for me. Since my Myco came with these Goodyear Wrangler HT tires on it, I went with them. I posted my experience with them here: http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/t...w-trailer.html If there is anything that get's debated on here more than who has the biggest balls/fastest boat; SRW vs. DRW towing... ...it's trailer tires. There are TONS of threads and posts that you will find by using the Search Function in the upper right corner of the site. :D |

However, there are many Radial (steel belted or another material) ST trailer tires on the market now, and for a while. LT tires will not have the stiff sidewall that a trailer tire is known for, but I covered in my previous post what the leading trailer manufacturers are using, and it's not ST tires. |
Not sure you can even find an ST tire in 16".
