I have a '11 6.7 and love it. Cousin drove it and just traded his '13 dura max/Allison for a '14 6.7. Both of ours are crew cab short bed lariats. Mine is a 250 and his is a 350. No better truck on the market IMHO

Btw, if you plow you should already know a gasser is a better option. If you want a 6.2, better do it now cause they're gone after '14 and so is the raptor. Ford is bringing back a lightning type truck with the ecoboost.

The 6.7s are VERY dependable. We service units with well over 200k and they are still running strong with only regular maintenance done to them. Of course one can find failures. Good grief. Nothing is perfect, but your statement is far from factual. No bash, just giving a little info.

Good to know, but I just posted some threads from OSO on the subject which you could argue is a sample population of the buyers. Those two threads plus the F450 that Chuck had to deal with (lemon law deal) would make me think twice about a Ford diesel (that being said I bought a new Lariat F150) after putting 170K miles on a duramax crew cab.

I do suspect some of the failures are from guys that mod the trucks, blow them up and then complain when the dealer won't fix it under warranty. My truck was bone stock and very trouble free in the 8 years I had it.
