Aww man! I have been jonesing for a new HD Denali, but I can't seem to justify getting rid of my 04 HD Duramax since it has been paid off for so long and has under 80K miles. Those are some sweet trucks! $65K is kinda rich though......

I traded my 03 Duramax to the local Ford dealer on a new F150.....truck was really trouble free at 170k+ miles but a big repair could have killed the value on the truck (got 9K on trade). 2k ac or 3k tranny repair would have been 20-30% of the value of the truck. So I see it at the dealer a few months later, Ford mechanic bought it! Truck now has over 200K, he put a gauge cluster in it and 4 used tires......Some days I miss that truck, other days not so much (diesel stink or changing diesel fuel filter come to mind).

I traded my fully loaded 2004 3500 crewcab dually duramax for a 2013 2500 crewcab duramax. It wasn't even close the difference it has in the ride, handling, and driving. I got $12,000 on my trade for the 2004 with 175,000 miles and needing new injectors. It was the best decision I have ever made. If you like the truck you have, then I suggest staying away from them and not test driving a new one. Once you do you will want one.

You're absolutely right! So far I have avoided a test drive cause I know I'd cave and have one! Mine pulls the boat perfectly fine and still looks decent.

I drove a new 08 on a test drive and if the salesman was any bit aggressive I would have driven it home! It felt like a rocket ship compared to my 03! The new ones have to be real screamers!
