I have one of these on my daughters Silverado. She hasn't broke it yet, so it must be built pretty good. I have seen footprints on it a couple of times. When i ask why? I just get the "deer in the headlight" look. Damn teenagers....

Good to hear from you!

I had a RollandLock......it was ok but for what I paid I was disappointed with it leaking in the corners. My brother in law had one on his Denali pick up until a snow pile slid off a roof at work and caved it in!

Def supposedly has at least 1 year shelf life. Mine is at 2800 and haven't had to fill it. Truck is fantastic though I haven't towed yet!!

Thought I read somewhere the DEF is scheduled to run out at oil change intervals....like you get 5000-7000 miles out of the tank then you have to refill.

My 11 LMM was that way (service interval length). GM is touting 2 years all services warranty with the purchase of a new truck and the salesman kept pounding home to me about that including DEF. Lol
